• 5ème édition de l’enquête ASDA’A Burson-Marsteller sur les aspirations de la jeunesse arabe (Moyen-Orient & Afrique du Nord)

  Dubaï, le 9 avril, 2013 Cette étude est la seule à fournir des données et une analyse aussi détaillées et fiables des perceptions et aspirations des 200 millions de jeunes Arabes de la région. Elle est menée pour la 5ème fois à l’initiative d’ASDA’A Burson-Marsteller, agence de relations publiques leader dans cette région, en partenariat avec l’institut de sondage international « Penn Schoen Berland » (PSB). 3000 entretiens ont été menés, en tête-à-tête, avec des hommes et femmes, âgés de 18 à 24 ans et originaires de 15 pays (Emirats Arabes Unis, Arabie Saoudite, Qatar, Koweït, Oman et Bahreïn, Iraq, Egypte, Jordanie, Libye, Liban, Tunisie, et l’ajout cette année de 3 nouveaux pays : Maroc, Algérie et Yémen). L’étude a été réalisée entre décembre 2012 et janvier 2013.

• Burson-Marsteller-Studie: Arabische Jugendliche sehen die Zukunft positiv

  Zürich, 11. April 2013 – Nach dem Arabischen Frühling vor zwei Jahren sind junge Araberinnen und Araber zunehmend optimistisch. Drei Viertel der heute 18- bis 24-Jährigen glauben, dass sie einer besseren Zukunft entgegensehen. In Politik und Wirtschaft sehen die Jugendlichen klare Verbesserungen. Bei vielen steht jetzt allerdings das Private im Vordergrund: Eine gerechte Bezahlung im Job und ein eigenes Zuhause sind die wichtigsten Wünsche der jungen Menschen im Nahen Osten. Sorgen bereiten ihnen vor allem steigende Lebenshaltungskosten. Dies sind Ergebnisse der fünften arabischen Jugendstudie von ASDA‘A Burson-Marsteller, für die 3.000 Jugendliche in 15 Ländern des Nahen Ostens befragt wurden.

• The Papal Vanishing Act on Twitter

  On February 28 Pope Benedict XVI had barely left the Vatican for his temporary residence at Castel Gandolfo when his private apartments were sealed as is tradition and his Twitter account @Pontifex became inactive. The account was renamed to "Sede Vacante" (vacant seat), the photo of Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI removed and all his 39 tweets, including his last tweet sent a couple of hours earlier, simply vanished.
